Stock room clerk

Duties and Responsibilities
* Receive items to stock warehouses.
* Unpack merchandise, equipment, supplies, materials.
* Log items received.
* Label items with identification tags, stamps, electronic markers, labeling equipment, stickers.
* Store items in warehouses, supply rooms, tool rooms, other areas.
* Compare requisition orders with stock.
* Inspect inventory for damage.
* Record damage to stock.
* Dispose of damaged stock.
* Return damaged stock to vendor.
* Maintain electronic records of inventories, shipments, goods used, goods issued.
* Knowledge sets include: Inventory, Materials Management, Warehousing.

Nature of Work
Duration: Part Time, Temporary
Normal Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Working Hour per Week: 25 hour(s)
Normal Work Shifts: First (Day)

Experience
Applicants must have experience of 6 month(s) .

Minimum Age
Applicants should have age 18 yrs. (Federal Contractor)

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Works standing and/or seated while performing duties.
  • Handles medium to heavy weight material.
  • Clean room conditions may apply.
  • ESD control training and compliance with ESD policies may be required.
  • Safety glasses with side shields required.
  • No drinking or eating in some areas.
  • FAA drug test requirements may apply.
  • Must maintain good housekeeping practices.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time and an air-conditioned and heated office. The noise level is occasionally high.
