Stock room clerk
|Duties and Responsibilities|
|* Receive items to stock warehouses.
* Unpack merchandise, equipment, supplies, materials.
* Log items received.
* Label items with identification tags, stamps, electronic markers, labeling equipment, stickers.
* Store items in warehouses, supply rooms, tool rooms, other areas.
* Compare requisition orders with stock.
* Inspect inventory for damage.
* Record damage to stock.
* Dispose of damaged stock.
* Return damaged stock to vendor.
* Maintain electronic records of inventories, shipments, goods used, goods issued.
* Knowledge sets include: Inventory, Materials Management, Warehousing.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, reach with arms and hands, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 30 to 100 lbs.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time and an air-conditioned and heated office. The noise level is occasionally high.
